My name is Jenny, and I live in Oegstgeest in The Netherlands. I have two daughters, and two ‘bonus’ children as we say in this country. I married my wonderful husband Joost in 2020. I grew up, not far away, in Leidschendam with my sister and our parents.
I’ve worked for the Dutch national environmental enforcement authority for over 20 years. My current role is as the Co-ordinating Advisor for the Special Intelligence and Investigation Service. Our goal is to combat environmental crime.
To have some balance to this busy family and work life, I tried a painting course, and I like it a lot! Painting helps calm my mind. I’ve always been creative and love to draw and make things with my hands. My sister is a goldsmith and my dad an electrician, so it runs in the family!
And now, I would really like to create art for you! This can be any drawing or painting of your choice. What works best is having one or more photos of the subject you would like me to recreate. I paint in both acrylic and oil, so you can choose between the two!
We can agree a price according to the size, the amount of work and the materials needed. I am very much looking forward to it!
